About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Paia, HI, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just, sustainable food system. Our program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in immersive training focused on organic food education, ecological literacy, and community empowerment. Through hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm in Virginia and partnerships with local non-profits, our Fellows learn to grow diverse crops, support farmers' markets, and lead educational initiatives that promote health in their communities. With no tuition fees, we emphasize accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that passionate individuals can transform their skills into impactful community action. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the Fellowship running from May to October, establishing a strong foundation for a career in food advocacy and environmental stewardship.
