Based in Papaaloa, HI, Food Stamp Assistance is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the application process for food assistance, specifically the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Our mission is to ensure that accessing vital food benefits does not add to the challenges of living in poverty. We offer a straightforward eligibility screener that can be easily accessed by texting the word FOOD to 74544, allowing anyone to quickly determine their eligibility for SNAP. For those likely eligible, we guide users through applying for food assistance, including providing support through community partners to complete applications over the phone when needed. Our goal is to make emergency food assistance accessible to all, ensuring that support is available to those who need it most.
