Located in Papaikou, HI, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry (CORE) is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees facing financial difficulties due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to provide immediate financial assistance for essential expenses including rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, hospital-related costs, and childcare necessities. We understand the unique challenges that families encounter and strive to alleviate the burden during tough times. While former CORE grant recipients may reapply only after 12 months, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of our community by offering compassionate support to those in need, with a lifetime cap of $7,500 on assistance to help as many families as possible.
