Based at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting families with children who have special health care needs. We understand the financial challenges that come with medical care, and we aim to lighten that burden through our tailored financial assistance program. Our funding can help cover essential medical costs such as prescriptions, medical supplies, and durable medical equipment, as well as non-medical expenses including home and vehicle modifications, clothing, and daily living costs like food and utilities. We also assist families with healthcare utilization expenses, such as travel to medical facilities and temporary lodging. Each family may receive grants up to $500 annually, with additional requests subject to Board approval. We strive to process requests efficiently, typically reviewing applications within 15 business days, ensuring that support reaches families when they need it most.
