The Senior Food Box Program, known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the lives of low-income kūpuna in Wahiawa, HI, by providing them with essential monthly food assistance. Each Senior Food Box is filled with high-quality USDA food specifically designed to combat senior hunger and improve health outcomes, helping to reduce the risk of hospitalizations and nursing home placements. Through our program, participants receive nutrient-rich food that supports their dietary needs. To join the program, interested individuals can download the application from our website and submit it to the Hawaii Foodbank. Due to limited availability, there are currently wait lists at all distribution sites; however, we are committed to supporting our kūpuna and will distribute any extra boxes to those on the wait list at the end of each distribution.
