About Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program
The Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program in Waialua, HI, is committed to fostering the health and wellbeing of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families through essential services, including nutritional education, access to supplemental foods, postpartum and breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals. At KKV, families can enjoy the 'Ohana Play and Learn facility while they wait for their appointments, making each visit welcoming and family-friendly. To ensure inclusivity, our multilingual WIC staff is available to assist clients who speak a variety of languages, including Cantonese, Chuukese, Ilocano, Mandarin, Tagalog, Taiwanese Hokkein, Vietnamese, and Yapese.
