The Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program in Waianae, HI, is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age five. Our mission focuses on providing essential food assistance, nutritional education, and postpartum and breastfeeding support to families in need. At KKV, families are welcomed into a nurturing environment where they can also enjoy the 'Ohana Play and Learn facility while waiting for appointments. Our multilingual staff is here to ensure that clients who speak Cantonese, Chuukese, Ilocano, Mandarin, Tagalog, Taiwanese Hokkein, Vietnamese, and Yapese receive the assistance they deserve.
