Located on the island of Maui, this center provides comprehensive services for individuals ages 13 and older through residential treatment (exclusively for women and girls), partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programming. For Hawaii residents unable to attend in person, 'Ai Pono also offers virtual IOP services. The facility resides in a traditional Japanese-style house characterized by vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan, and abundant natural light that creates a peaceful, healing environment. Clients benefit from the center's prime location near the beach, where mindful walks are a regular activity. The program also incorporates therapeutic excursions to local attractions including sacred cultural sites like Iao Valley, Kula lavender farm, and nearby shopping destinations.
