The Purple Van Food Distribution Program is dedicated to supporting the elderly, disabled, and low-income families and individuals in Waimanalo, HI, and the surrounding North Shore region of Oahu by providing essential food assistance. Our mission is to alleviate the burden of food insecurity, allowing individuals to focus on important health and housing challenges without the added stress of worrying about access to nutritious food. We deliver substantial food boxes to our community members, especially during the holidays, ensuring that no one has to face hunger alone. Those experiencing food insecurity are encouraged to reach out and request a food box, as we are here to help nourish and support our neighbors in need.
