The Senior Food Box Program, also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income kūpuna in Waimanalo, HI. Each month, eligible seniors receive a box filled with quality USDA food designed to supplement their nutrition and alleviate the serious impact of senior hunger. By improving access to essential nutrients, our program not only supports the health and well-being of our kūpuna but also helps prevent costly hospital visits and nursing home placements. To enroll in the program, interested individuals can download the application online and submit it to Hawaii Foodbank. Due to high demand for this vital service, there may be a wait list for distribution spots, and while on the list, we strive to offer any extra available boxes at each distribution. We are here to support our seniors in Waimanalo with compassionate food assistance.
