H3RC Food Drop in Waipahu, HI, is dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance through the distribution of fresh vegetables, fruits, dry goods, and nonperishable items. Open to the public, we aim to serve those who may struggle with grocery store access, making it easy for anyone in need to receive vital nourishment. Our event prioritizes nutritional needs, offering some of the only fresh produce from Hawai‘i Food Bank. Participants can come by and simply fill out a brief food bank questionnaire to receive food, which is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure the safety of all attendees, we uphold the city's mandatory mask order and social distancing guidelines during our events.
