The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program in Waipahu, HI, is dedicated to supporting low-income kūpuna by providing vital access to fresh, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs. Through our initiative, participants receive $50 worth of coupons—ten $5 vouchers—that can be used to purchase eligible foods at local farmers, farmers’ markets, and approved roadside stands, ensuring that seniors enjoy nutritious, wholesome produce at no cost. Operating seasonally from April through October, we encourage interested individuals to apply early, as spaces are limited and tend to fill quickly by late spring.
