Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) in Waipahu, HI, is dedicated to fostering the well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition assessments, education, and support for breastfeeding. We also offer vital referrals for substance abuse cessation, health, and social services, ensuring a holistic focus on health and well-being. Eligible participants can receive supplemental foods tailored to meet their nutritional needs, along with access to our Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program, all aimed at nurturing families in our community.
