The Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program on Wake Island, HI, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits and supportive resources for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance nutritional well-being through personalized nutrition assessments, education on healthy eating, and comprehensive breastfeeding promotion and support. In addition, we provide vital health and social service referrals to connect families with essential community resources. By empowering families with supplemental foods and guidance, WIC aims to nurture the health of our youngest community members and their mothers.
