The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program at Wheeler Army Airfield, HI, is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition assessments, education, and support services. We provide breastfeeding promotion and education, referrals to vital health and social services, and access to supplemental foods tailored to meet the unique needs of families. In response to community health concerns, we are currently offering our services by phone to ensure continued support and accessibility for all our clients.
