MOVE! Weight Management Program in Albia, IA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and referred to tailored weight management services that suit their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those who prefer at-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For individuals who continue to face challenges after utilizing our program, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
