About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Algona, IA, is dedicated to providing compassionate and informed meal support for individuals aged 16 and older who are at the outpatient stage of eating disorder recovery. Our program offers free virtual group meals designed to create a supportive and safe environment where participants can enjoy nutrition together. With sessions held four times a day, including two lunch and two dinner slots, our participants can choose to attend as many sessions as needed to fit their personal schedules. Each meal support session is led by highly trained nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator, who are dedicated to fostering a caring atmosphere while working towards their CNS certification. While we offer crucial support for meal management and recovery, please note that this program is not intended for urgent care or crises; those in need of immediate assistance should reach out to available crisis services.
