Caring Hands Eastview Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in Altoona, Iowa. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, offering a variety of options including meat, dairy, canned goods, cereals, and other staples. Partnering with DMARC, we enable families to receive a total of twelve items per member each month, meeting their basic nutritional needs. In response to current health concerns, our pantry operates with modified procedures to safeguard the well-being of our valued volunteers and clients. When visiting, please park in the upper lot and wait for your number to be called; only one family member can enter at a time to select items, while weekly visitors will receive a pre-packed order directly from their vehicle. We appreciate your patience as we work together to support our community during these challenging times.
