The I-Smile Program is dedicated to enhancing the oral health of children under 21 and pregnant women in Altoona, IA, and surrounding areas, including Dallas, Polk, Clinton, and Jackson counties. Our mission encompasses a comprehensive range of dental and oral care services, including essential oral health screenings, educational resources on nutrition and oral hygiene, fluoride varnish applications, and referrals to local dentists for those requiring more extensive dental care. We are here to support families in establishing a dental home for their children, navigating Medicaid coverage, arranging dental appointments, and even providing transportation assistance. Additionally, we offer translation services to ensure that everyone can access the dental care they need.
