About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Ames, IA, offers a compassionate and inclusive virtual space designed specifically for individuals over 16 who are navigating recovery from eating disorders. Our program provides free, accessible meal support sessions that occur four times daily, allowing participants to join in scheduled group meals during lunch and dinner times. Each session is guided by knowledgeable nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, who offer support while participants consume nourishing meals. While we are dedicated to fostering a safe environment for outpatient recovery, we recognize the need for additional support, which is why we encourage those in crisis situations to reach out for immediate assistance. Join us to connect with others on a similar journey and find nourishment in both food and community.
