The Backpack Program is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity for children in Anamosa, IA, by providing vital food assistance during critical times. Every Friday, we collaborate with local schools to discreetly send home bags filled with single-serve food items in the backpacks of children in need, ensuring they have nourishment to sustain them through the weekend. With the incredible support of schools, devoted volunteers, and community partners, we are proud to serve hundreds of local children, standing firm in our mission to combat hunger and promote well-being in our community.
