At ChildServe's Autism Day Health program in Ankeny, Iowa, we are dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families through a comprehensive range of evidence-based services. Our team of experts, including child psychologists, occupational and speech therapists, provides individualized care that empowers children, teens, and young adults to develop essential social skills, access educational opportunities, and engage fully in their community. We are proud to offer one of Iowa's few autism diagnostic clinics, along with specialized outpatient therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of children with ASD. Our Autism Day Health program is Iowa's only service of its kind, offering intensive therapy and skill development in a nurturing weekday environment for children aged 2-6. Additionally, we facilitate Autism Intensives that consist of focused therapy sessions, and we incorporate behavioral support strategies throughout our programming. Our social group sessions help enhance communication skills among children, while teens and young adults benefit from our life skills program, preparing them for independent living and job readiness. We also provide essential nutritional support through our Feeding and Swallowing Clinic. ChildServe is committed to partnering with families to navigate the complexities of accessing services and resources, ensuring that every child has the tools they need to thrive. Eligibility requires Medicaid status.
