Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families in Bettendorf, Iowa. Our mission is to ease the financial burden related to both medical and non-medical expenses. We provide grants that can be utilized for a variety of essential costs, including medical bills, prescriptions, and durable medical equipment, as well as home and vehicle modifications. Additionally, we help cover healthcare utilization expenses such as travel and lodging for medical appointments, along with daily living costs like food, utilities, and transportation. Each family may receive up to $500 per year, with requests processed in the order they are received. While we strive to meet as many requests as possible, we ask applicants to allow a minimum of 15 business days for review and approval, ensuring that we can continue to offer compassionate support to those in need.
