Located in Boone, Iowa, ChildServe’s Autism Program is dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families through a comprehensive range of tailored services. Our innovative, evidence-based Autism Day Health program is the only one of its kind in Iowa, providing essential weekday care for children ages 2-6 that integrates intensive therapy, nursing, early intervention, and skill development. Our multi-disciplinary team, featuring child psychologists, occupational and speech therapists, work collaboratively to offer one of Iowa's few autism diagnostic clinics, ensuring families receive the educational resources and referrals needed for continued progress. We provide outpatient therapy by highly trained professionals and offer intensive speech and occupational therapy sessions for young children to help enhance their communication and social skills. Our program also includes behavioral support integrated throughout all activities, family education, and unique group programming designed to foster social interaction and life skills among teens and young adults. ChildServe is committed to partnering with families to navigate the necessary resources and funding options to help their children thrive. Medicaid eligibility is required for participation.
