At Milestones Area Agency on Aging in Burlington, IA, our Home-Delivered Meals program is dedicated to providing essential meal delivery services to seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals or attend a Senior Nutrition Center due to health challenges. We believe that everyone should have access to nutritious food, which is why no one is denied service based on their ability to contribute. While a suggested contribution of $5.00 per meal is appreciated, we also welcome the use of Food Assistance (SNAP) for this purpose. For seamless service, we encourage prior arrangements with our nutrition staff, ensuring that every senior receives the care and nourishment they need.
