MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Carlisle, IA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year and connect them with tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support for participants. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app enables Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who require further assistance after engaging with the program.
