Located in Carroll, Iowa, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by offering comprehensive screenings for obesity, followed by tailored referrals to our diverse weight management options. We provide a range of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient at-home support. Our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who prefer an independent approach to weight management, while those who need additional assistance may access weight loss medications or bariatric surgery after trying MOVE! We invite Veterans to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
