About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Chariton, IA, is dedicated to providing free, accessible meal support tailored for individuals over 16 at the outpatient level of eating disorder recovery. Through our live, virtual drop-in group meals, participants enjoy a supportive environment to share nutrition and connection during meal times. We offer four daily sessions, including two for lunch and two for dinner, allowing flexibility for individuals to attend as their schedule permits. Each meal support session is led by trained nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator program, guiding participants toward healthier eating habits while fostering an atmosphere of understanding and care. Please note that this program serves as meal support and not as a crisis intervention service; for immediate help, reach out to appropriate emergency contacts.
