The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Clinton, IA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. We provide a transformative experience for our Fellows, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to advocate for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Through our no-cost program, participants engage in hands-on education about organic farming, as well as methods to grow and distribute diversified crops and maintain community gardens. The Fellowship emphasizes collaboration, encouraging Fellows to implement innovative health care education, support local farmers markets, and develop channels for greater access to healthy foods. After an enriching six-month residency at our farm, each Fellow embarks on a Community Action Year, working alongside local non-profits to apply their learning and drive meaningful change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences typically taking place from May to October.
