Located in Clive, Iowa, ChildServe’s Autism Program is dedicated to empowering children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families through a compassionate and comprehensive suite of services. Our evidence-based programming fosters essential skills that enable children, teens, and young adults to build friendships, engage with their peers in school, and participate actively in community and family activities. As one of Iowa's few autism diagnostic clinics, we combine the expertise of child psychologists with occupational and speech therapists to diagnose ASD and provide families with vital education, referrals, and actionable recommendations. Our Autism Day Health program uniquely offers intensive therapy and developmental support for children ages 2-6, and we also provide outpatient therapy with specialized autism training. With tailored autism intensives, social group programming, and life skills training for older youth, we strive to cultivate confidence and independence in all our participants. Our highly trained caregivers deliver personalized support through Supported Community Living (SCL), while our Feeding and Swallowing Clinic addresses feeding challenges using the SOS Approach to Feeding. At ChildServe, we believe in partnering closely with families to navigate available resources and funding, ensuring every child with ASD has the opportunity to thrive.
