The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Clive, IA, is dedicated to nurturing passionate individuals who aspire to transform our food systems into ones that are just, sustainable, and community-focused. Through a comprehensive, hands-on training program, we empower Fellows to advocate for environmentally sound practices while promoting social equity and economic viability. This fellowship offers organic food system education, mentoring opportunities, and real-world experience in diverse areas including market-style farming and community gardening. Fellows spend six months at our immersive Farm and Food Study, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profits. We believe in promoting accessibility and inclusivity, which is why we do not charge tuition for our program. Applications are accepted until March, with the fellowship running from May to October, inviting a new generation of leaders to influence food literacy and access in their communities.
