Based in De Witt, IA, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry offers crucial support to food and beverage service workers facing financial hardships due to illness or medical emergencies. Our program is dedicated to alleviating the burdens of medical crises by providing comprehensive financial assistance that covers essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills and supplies, therapy, hospital-related travel and meal expenses, childcare needs, and other child-related costs. We recognize the unique challenges faced by our community members and are committed to ensuring that families can focus on recovery without the added stress of financial uncertainty. Former recipients are welcome to reapply for assistance after a gap of 12 months, and while each grant is capped at $7,500, our aim is to support individuals through their most challenging times with empathy and care.
