At Ruby's Pantry in Decorah, IA, we are dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing low-cost groceries to families and individuals in need. We achieve this by collecting food surpluses, overages, and seasonal bumper crops, which we transform into generous food bundles. By partnering with local churches across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Iowa, we ensure that nutritious food reaches our communities effectively. Our program is designed to meet the basic nutritional needs of all who seek assistance: there are no income or residency requirements, allowing guests to access food support at multiple pop-up pantry locations each month based on their convenience. While we request a $25 donation for each grocery bundle, our primary goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the food they need to thrive.
