Based in Des Moines, Iowa, the Hailey Bankhead Foundation (HBF) is dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families during some of their most challenging times. We offer an array of essential services aimed at addressing both immediate and overlooked needs that arise following a diagnosis. Our offerings include care packages, emergency financial assistance, engaging therapeutic activities, and supportive group gatherings. We also provide spiritual support to nurture the emotional well-being of families. To ease the burden of everyday expenses, we distribute grocery cards, gas cards, and gift certificates, along with meal vouchers to ensure that no family faces meal insecurity while dealing with cancer.
