The Iowa Individual Disaster Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP) is dedicated to supporting families in need throughout Dubuque, IA, by providing critical financial assistance following disasters. Activated by a gubernatorial disaster proclamation, this program is designed for households earning at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, allowing qualifying families to receive grants of up to $5,000. The funds can be utilized for temporary housing, food assistance, replacement of personal property, and essential home repairs. We encourage affected residents to apply by downloading the application and submitting it to their local Community Action Association before the deadline, ensuring that help is accessible when it is needed most.
