At Congregate Meals in Eldridge, IA, we warmly welcome individuals aged 60 and over to join us for delicious, hot meals designed to nourish both body and spirit. Our meal sites offer not just nutritious lunches, but also a vibrant atmosphere for socialization, featuring activities like bingo, games, and musical performances. We aim to enhance the well-being of our participants through monthly nutrition education, food sampling, and exercise opportunities. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthy meals, which is why we operate on a contribution basis, suggesting a $5 donation per meal, though no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. For those under 60, a meal can be enjoyed for $10.85. We invite our community members to register annually and make meal reservations 1-2 days in advance to join us for fellowship and good food, served generally between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
