Milestones Area Agency on Aging's Home-Delivered Meals program in Fort Madison, IA, is dedicated to ensuring that seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals due to health reasons receive nutritious meals right at their doorstep. We understand the importance of maintaining independence and proper nutrition, which is why we deliver meals to those who cannot attend a Senior Nutrition Center. No one is turned away based on their ability to contribute, and while we suggest a contribution of $5.00 per meal, participants can also use Food Assistance (SNAP) to help with costs. Prior arrangements can easily be made with our caring nutrition staff to ensure everyone receives the meals they need.
