Located in Glenwood, IA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education and by providing vital supplemental foods tailored to the needs of our participants. We also emphasize breastfeeding promotion and support, ensuring mothers have the resources and encouragement they need. Additionally, we connect our families with essential health care referrals, aiming to strengthen the well-being of our community's youngest members and their mothers.
