River Place Food Pantry, located in Grimes, IA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in Polk County. In partnership with the Des Moines Area Religious Council's Move the Food program, we distribute healthy, nutritious food and necessary non-food items on a monthly basis, ensuring that no one in need is turned away based on income. We welcome community members to visit our pantry once a month to receive a three-day supply of food, aimed at alleviating food insecurity and promoting well-being. Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., inviting those in need to reach out and access the support they deserve.
