Located in Independence, IA, the OvarCare Patient Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting women battling ovarian cancer by providing essential financial assistance tailored to their needs. Our program offers a financial grant of $200, as well as a $100 gas card and a $100 grocery card to ease daily burdens. We understand the emotional toll of this journey, which is why we also include psycho-social counseling sessions with a licensed clinical social worker and genetic counseling via phone for in-depth support. We invite healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to submit applications on behalf of patients. We process requests in the order they are received, with grant availability contingent on our funding levels, all to ensure that we can celebrate and assist these incredibly strong and resilient individuals with our dedicated services.
