At ChildServe's Autism Program in Indianola, IA, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of services designed to empower children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and support their families. Our evidence-based programming equips children, teens, and young adults with essential tools to build friendships, succeed in school, and engage meaningfully in their communities and family life. As one of Iowa’s few autism diagnostic clinics, our team of child psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists collaborates to diagnose ASD while offering families the education and referrals necessary for effective pathways forward. Our unique Autism Day Health program caters to children aged 2-6, offering intensive therapy, nursing care, and skill development during weekday sessions. Additionally, we provide targeted autism intensives, behavioral support, and social group programming to enhance communication skills and confidence across various age groups. For older teens and young adults, our life skills program focuses on equipping them with daily living and employment skills, while our Supported Community Living (SCL) program pairs specially-trained caregivers for personalized skill-building. Our Feeding and Swallowing Clinic offers medical nutrition therapy using the SOS Approach to support children with feeding challenges.
