In Iowa City, IA, our Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential grocery assistance to residents of Johnson County, helping to meet basic nutritional needs. Clients are welcome to receive food assistance once a week, where they can select their own items based on their family size, or opt for pre-made bags if they prefer a quicker option. Our friendly team ensures a supportive environment, with a brief first-time client interview to gather necessary information, including household details and income. To prioritize community health, we have adapted our services in response to COVID-19, offering alternative options and pre-bagged meals to maintain safety. We invite you to come by at least 30 minutes before closing to allow us ample time to assist you.
