The Iowa Individual Disaster Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP), operated by the Iowa Community Action Association, is dedicated to supporting families in Iowa City, IA, affected by disasters. Activated upon a disaster proclamation from the Governor, this vital program provides financial assistance to households earning 200% or less of the federal poverty level, offering grants up to $5,000. These funds can be used for essential needs such as temporary housing, food assistance, personal property replacement, and home repairs. We invite eligible families to apply by downloading the application and submitting it to their local Community Action Association before the deadline to access the support they need during challenging times.
