Located in Iowa Falls, IA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to effectively screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a range of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, allowing Veterans to track their progress on their own. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to face challenges after participating in the MOVE! program.
