At the Bidwell-Riverside Center in Johnston, IA, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance and clothing to community members in need, regardless of their location. Our welcoming no-boundary food and clothing pantry offers a variety of support, including nutritious food items, toiletries, baby supplies such as diapers and baby food, and cleaning products. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have implemented a curb-side service model to ensure safety while serving our clients. Those seeking help can remain in their vehicle or wait outside at our picnic tables while our staff conducts the intake process at a safe distance. Though our Essential Household Items Program and specific clothing services are temporarily closed, we continue to offer essential resources daily. To facilitate food pick-up for another household, please remember to bring identification for yourself and all household members receiving assistance, along with a signed note authorizing the pick-up.
