Located in Johnston, IA, River Place Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need within Polk County. In partnership with the Des Moines Area Religious Council's Move the Food program, we facilitate access to healthy, nutritional food, distributing a three-day supply once a month to ensure that no one goes hungry. Our welcoming pantry operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., prioritizing those who face food insecurity, regardless of income status.
