Located in Knoxville, IA, HIRTA Helps RSVP connects older adults to vital community resources through the support of AmeriCorps Seniors. Our mission is to provide compassionate assistance in non-emergency medical transportation, food support, and companionship to individuals in Madison and Marion counties. We believe in making our services accessible, so an intake assessment is conducted to tailor support to each person's needs, and we offer our services at no cost, although donations are appreciated. We are actively seeking volunteers who want to make a difference, and we encourage anyone interested in giving back to apply.
