MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Marion, IA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and is connected to appropriate weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We provide a range of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which offers in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with overweight or related health issues after engaging with our program.
