The Iowa Individual Disaster Assistance Grant Program (IIAGP), facilitated by the Iowa Community Action Association, is committed to supporting families in Monticello and surrounding areas when disaster strikes. Activated upon the Governor's disaster proclamation, this essential program offers financial assistance to households earning 200% or less of the federal poverty level. Each eligible family may receive grants up to $5,000 to aid in temporary housing, food assistance, personal property replacement, and necessary home repairs. We understand the urgency of recovery during challenging times, and invite families to apply by downloading the application and submitting it to a local Community Action Association before the deadline.
