Ruby's Pantry in Mount Vernon, IA, is dedicated to providing low-cost groceries to families and individuals in need by collecting and redistributing food overages and surplus produce into generous food bundles. Our mission is to meet the basic nutritional needs of our community, ensuring that everyone has access to nourishment. We partner with local churches across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Iowa to distribute emergency food, and we invite guests to visit our pop-up pantry locations without any income or residency requirements. Each month, individuals can attend multiple pantry sites that fit their schedule, and we kindly request a $25 donation for groceries. Together, we strive to uplift and support our neighbors with care and compassion.
